Traditional litho printing has a number of catagories and it is important to know which job gets placed with which sector.
This is at the high end of the market. Print runs tend to be larger. Most booklet jobs, presentation folders, large quantities of leaflets and jobs of this nature tend to fit in this catagory, starting at around 1000 in quantity. This is why digital printing does not cross over with litho printing because any print order of 1000 and under will be a digital print job and orders over that amount fall into the litho printing catagory.
Again this is quantity driven, but the jobs printed here are generally the likes of letterheads with pantone colours, envelopes printed in one or two colours, order forms and NCR sets which tend to be invoices in duplicate, purchase orders and delivery notes
